#32: What would happen if I joined the Red Team?

One of the best ways for the military, business strategy teams, and IT Departments to highlight potential threats is by playing war games.

If you’re not familiar with war games, the players are split into 2 teams, simply called Red Team and Blue Team. (And Purple Teams for when they cooperate side by side)

Once the teams are established, the Red Team’s objective is to attack and destroy the defenses of the Blue Team.

So by you, the CEO, joining the opposite side (the Red Team) … not only will you gain a brand new perspective, but your competitive nature will kick into overdrive and …

Your inside knowledge of your company will spark insight after insight on your current vulnerabilities.

Then, you can write out these vulnerabilities and instead of simply ‘fixing them’ – you can uncover ways to flip them into opportunities.

Because that’s the thing, oftentimes our biggest ‘weaknesses’ plant the seeds of our greatest competitive advantage.

Stay bold!
